Carnegie Hill CHI

Outpatient
 Substance Abuse Treatment Center

Carnegie Hill CHI specializes in the treatment of addiction through counseling and mental health treatment. Our mission is to change lives through patient-led treatment. For over 40 Years, we have been dedicated to giving personalized care for our patients.

We offer treatment of addiction, which can involve substances, activities, or behaviors. Patients may seek the care for addictions to drugs and alcohol, tobacco, gambling, illegal activities such as theft, the internet, sex, DUI programs and many more. Treatments include a range of short & long term therapies, detoxification programs, and harm reduction or rehabilitation services, among others.

Carnegie Hill CHI is a private, non-funded, OASAS regulated facility that consists of two separate programs, both discreetly located in the same facility in the Carnegie Hill Neighborhood on the upper east side.

The Opioid Treatment Program is on our lower level and the Chemical Dependency Outpatient Program is on our main floor.

ABOUT US

Our Programs

Our programs offer a multitude of group counseling sessions from relapse prevention to life in recovery, as well as varying intensities of individual counseling tailored to the needs of each individual patient.

Our Opioid Dependency clinic offers individual counseling with Medication Assisted Therapy under the supervision and guidance of our experienced and caring clinicians.

We offer treatment for opioid addiction by addressing both the mental causes and physical effects of opioid addiction through the use of Medication Assisted Therapy, or MAT. This modality utilizes medication to assist with the symptoms of withdrawal, and regular counseling  to address underlining issues. Medication in Tandem with therapy has proven effects in the long-term treatment of opioid addiction.
